Hi to all, |

Re: use of MSXML to generate a .xml suitable with a .xsd If I wanted the XML in a different format for some other application to read I would use a system call to xsltproc or somesuch to do the transformation using xslt. This seemed more efficient than trying to build an exporter that recognises different formats. I also used xslt files to transform data from other tools into doors-friendly format before I attempt the import. This approach meant that I could have a generic xml importer and all I need is a new xslt file for each data source or target. I haven't had a chance to look at the new RIF capabilities in DOORS 9.2, but I am sure this will save you a lot of work. |

Re: use of MSXML to generate a .xml suitable with a .xsd mgomes - Thu Jun 18 05:17:53 EDT 2009 Nevertheless, do you think it is possible to have "dynamic link" between the xsd content and the xml generated from it ? I illustrate : - be able to read the xsd to get back the markup name, and the way they have to be interweaved - from my doors module, feel and save the xml (so in conformity with the xsd) thanks again xavier |
